5 Wabi Mini-App Prompt Ideas That Turn Your Chats Into Working Tools

Wabi is a personal AI assistant that builds working mini-apps right inside your chats — and you don't write a line of code. You just describe what you want in plain English, and it spins up a tracker, a poll, a list, or a widget you can actually use. I've been collecting the prompts that work best on Wabi Wiki, the unofficial guide I'm building for the app, and these five are my favorites. Each one is a single sentence you can paste into a thread today.

Make a poll so our group can vote on one of these five movies for Friday night.

Every group chat has a debate that never ends: movie night, restaurant choice, weekend plans. Instead of scrolling through 200 messages, ask Wabi to build a poll everyone can vote in. Group apps are Wabi's specialty, so name the thread or the people in your request.

Build a weight tracker in this thread and log my weight whenever I tell you.

Trackers work best when they live where you already talk. Morning routines work too — try "Create a habit tracker that fits my morning routine and checks in with me daily." One sentence, no new app to download, and Wabi checks in with you daily.

Create a countdown to our trip on June 5 and put it on my home screen.

Wabi can place widgets on your home screen. A countdown to a trip, an event, or a deadline stays visible all day. If you'll check something daily, say where the app should live — the home screen is perfect for that.

Make a grocery list we can both add to from our phones.

Shared lists are a quiet superpower for couples and roommates. Both people can add items from their phones, so nothing gets forgotten at the store — and nobody has to text "pick up milk" ever again.

Start a question of the day for me and my partner to answer together.

A small ritual, automated. One thoughtful question a day, answered together. It's lovely for couples, and the same idea works for book clubs — "Make a shared reading list for our book club with what to read next."

Four habits make Wabi prompts work better: ask for one tool per request ("Build a poll" beats "plan my whole wedding"), say who it's for (name the thread or the people), say where it should live (ask for a home-screen widget if you'll check it daily), and refine, don't restart — ask Wabi to add a field, change a reminder time, or share the app with the thread.

You can find more copy-paste examples in the full prompts library — every one of them is written around what Wabi is actually built for: group planning, trackers, polls, lists, quizzes, and daily rituals.
