This post walks through three parts of SoftSync AI that developers and operators tend to ask about: the Meeting Assistant, the MCP server, and Autopilot.
SoftSync is built for small businesses and sales teams. The everyday flow is outreach → meeting → proposal → closing. Underneath it is a flexible data model:
Email and calendar connect to Google Workspace/Gmail and Microsoft 365/Outlook through OAuth. You can choose to import only emails from CRM contacts, so your CRM doesn't fill up with noise.
The Meeting Assistant is a desktop app for Mac and Windows ("SoftSync Desktop"). It captures your microphone and system audio and shows a live transcript. No bot joins the meeting, and no extra participant is invited.

The desktop recorder is included on every plan. It is not a paid add-on.
SoftSync has an MCP server, so AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT can create customers, move deals and send email.
There is also a REST API ( docs ). Our rule of thumb: use REST for your own code, MCP for a person's AI assistant, and connector + workflow when SoftSync should call an outside system.
Autopilot runs saved workflows. You can describe what you want in plain words, start from a library of templates, or use the visual editor. Triggers include record events, new emails, schedules or a manual run. Steps can include human review, and every workflow comes with run history and an audit log.
One example template is Pre-meeting Brief, which sends the host a brief before each booking.
Data is hosted in the EU (Azure, Stockholm). SoftSync says workspace data is never sold and never used to train models.
