That popularity is exactly why you should slow down before installing: the stores also list other apps with very similar names, and a careless search can land you on the wrong one.

The safest habit is simple: start from the official website, which links to the current store listings, rather than trusting a download button on a random page, video, or ad. Check the listing details below before you tap Get or Install.

On iOS, open the official website in Safari and tap the iOS download link, or open the App Store and search for “Wabi: AI Assistant.” Before you install, check the provider name: it must say Wabi, Inc. The app is free. The App Store listing says it is for iPhone only, with no separate iPad app, and it requires iOS 26.0 or later. The listing currently declares English as its language.

On Android, open the official website and tap the Google Play link, or search for Wabi in the Play Store. The Android app is listed as “Wabi: AI Messenger.” Again, confirm the developer is Wabi, Inc. before installing. The app is free and contains no ads, according to the guide.

On Mac, go to the official website and use the Mac download link provided there. You can start on your computer and pick up on your phone, because Wabi syncs across your devices.

This is where most mistakes happen. The guide names three unrelated lookalikes. “Wabi – Virtual Phone Number,” for WhatsApp Business, is a different company, not the AI assistant. “WABI car subscription,” in Spain, is a car rental service. “Waabi,” with a double “a,” is a self-driving technology company. Remember this rule: if the developer is not Wabi, Inc., it is not the app in this guide.
