Hacktoberfest Open-Source AI Challenge Week 3: Slow and Steady Submission 馃Ε

This is a submission for the Hacktoberfest Open-Source AI Challenge Week 3: Slow and Steady

I built an AI-powered procrastination monitoring chrome extension that's powered by Gemma 2B that prompts the user to close the tab or take a 5-minute break after doomscrolling on any social media platform for 30 seconds. It helps users get back to business but it also entirely depends on the user if they'd want to take a 5-minute break and be lazy for longer.

Open Innovation matters because it ensures privacy for sensitive data. Since open-weight models allow us to develop and run applications entirely local, there is no private or sensitive data being shared to others other than ourselves (the user). Open Innovation is also significant because it runs offline and is entirely free which helps reduce costs and ensure that it can run anywhere despite having a low internet connection.

Just used it just recently since I have upcoming exams and activities piling up and it was difficult for me to focus since I, out of instinct, open any social media app on my browser such as Facebook or Instagram. Luckily, this chrome extension I made saved me time to study and work on my schoolworks.
