We’re making it easier for you to have creative control in the creation of Slide Decks and Video Overviews.

Based on your feedback, Gemini Notebook now offers more creative control from start to finish on two of our popular outputs: Slide Decks and Video Overviews.

Instead of jumping from an initial prompt straight to a final output, Gemini Notebook can now walk you through the creation flow in a quick process based directly on your sources.

Start in the chat and ask Gemini Notebook to create slides or a video overview for you. Based on your sources, Notebook will suggest topics to be included in your artifact. Once you confirm, you will be able to steer the content further and guide visual style and format

If you want to have even more creative control, you can use our new Review toggle. With this on, you can review the plan in the studio panel by clicking “Review outline notes” for slides and "Review producer notes” for video, plus give additional feedback, like asking to include an executive summary at the beginning or swapping the order of a scene, before anything renders. Once everything looks right, select “Proceed” to produce a final artifact.

If you already know what you want to create, you can specify this in your prompt and the notebook will go straight to the review flow.

If you prefer a quick output, you can still just go to the studio panel, click your artifact, skip the review toggle and have Notebook generate the artifacts, as usual.

These co-creation capabilities are rolling out globally to all Gemini Notebook users over the upcoming week.
