Open-Source-Alternative zu Git für Agenten-skalierte Monorepos vorgestellt
Bei Anthropic stiegen die täglichen gemergten Änderungen von rund 2.500 im Mai auf über 30.000 im September, weshalb die für Menschen gebaute Git-Infrastruktur zum Flaschenhals wurde. Auf Basis dieser Entwicklung entstand mit Claude das Open-Source-Projekt Graft, das in Benchmarks gegen git antritt.
Anthropic recently wrote about creating in-house source control: they went from ~2,500 merged changes a day in May to 30,000+ in September, and git-era infrastructure built for humans became the bottleneck for agents.
So I had Claude build an open-source take on it: Graft.
