Oracle will offer cloud services running on Cerebras’ AI computers in its data centres from 2027, the companies said. Cerebras, which went public in May, is expected to triple revenue next year to almost $3B, but investors worry about its place in a market Nvidia dominates.

Oracle will offer cloud services built on Cerebras Systems’ AI computers in its data centres, Bloomberg reported. The deal gives the young Nvidia challenger another large customer.

Cerebras builds each chip from a whole silicon wafer, the disk normally cut into many smaller processors. It says this lets its systems answer AI requests much faster than rivals.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure plans to offer the service in 2027, the companies said on Tuesday. Oracle did not say how much Cerebras hardware it will use.

“ AI inference demands choice, ” said Mahesh Thiagarajan, president of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Cerebras already counts OpenAI and Amazon Web Services as customers. Analysts expect it to triple its revenue next year to almost $3B, from less than $1B this year, according to Bloomberg.

Investors still worry that Cerebras is chasing a small niche in a market where Nvidia’s products bring in close to $100B in sales each quarter. Shares in Cerebras, which listed in May, rose about 9.5% on Tuesday.

Oracle made the announcement at its annual AI World conference, alongside deals with Nvidia and Intel. It also buys Arm’s own chips. Oracle plans to spend $70B on capital projects in the year to May 2027, after spending $55.7B the year before.
