Austin-based RapidCanvas has bought Entytle, whose AI helps industrial equipment makers such as Baker Hughes and Veolia find parts and service sales across machines already in use. Terms were not disclosed. The deal follows RapidCanvas’s $29M Series B this month.

RapidCanvas, an Austin firm that builds and runs AI tools for businesses, has bought Entytle, the companies said on Wednesday. Entytle helps machine makers sell more parts and repairs for machines they have already sold. The price was not given.

Big machines can run for 10 to 30 years, and keep making money for their makers through parts and repairs, Entytle says. But sales teams cannot keep in touch with every buyer, so many small customers get left out.

Entytle’s AI agents watch the machines a maker has out in the field and suggest when to get in touch. They also help find new buyers, write price quotes and answer customers. Its clients include Peerless Pump, Baker Hughes, GEA and Veolia.

“ The bottleneck to unlocking aftermarket revenue has always been execution, not only insights, ” said Rahul Pangam, co-founder and chief executive of RapidCanvas.

The deal covers Entytle’s software, clients and staff. Its Insyghts product keeps its name, and Entytle boss Vivek Joshi will run a new unit at RapidCanvas focused on parts and repairs.

The deal comes weeks after RapidCanvas raised a $29M Series B led by Vertex Ventures SEA & India, with Hitachi Ventures joining. It pairs AI agents with human engineers who build and run them for clients. Other startups, such as New York’s Evos, are also bringing AI agents to industry.
