Nachdem drei Spar-Tools fuer Claude Code die Kosten des Autors eher erhoeht hatten, hat er sieben Tage Sitzungslogs mit rund 4.400 Modellaufrufen pro Tag ausgewertet. Ergebnis: Das Tool-Output ist nicht das eigentliche Kostenproblem, die Verteilung der token sieht anders aus als erwartet.
A few days ago I tested three Claude Code token-saving tools, and all three raised my cost. So this time I stopped testing tools and measured where my cost actually comes from.
I keep auto-compact off and use /clear with a handover note, because a compacted conversation can't be undone.
